QUESTIONS?

If you have any questions about the program, please check if the answers below can cover them. If not, you can contact us.

Unfortunately no. NEST is a mini seed acceleration program, which gives the opportunity to teams to work from their space, while working meeting and other presentations will take place in spaces of the program’s partners in Mytilene.

NEST is a program for teams based in Lesvos island, Greece, and which – ideally – are working on ideas for the island or somehow could also be applied on the island.

No. Participation to the program is totally free, which means that neither CREATIVE HUB nor MOVEMENT ON THE GROUND or any other partner of the program will claim any kind of equity of your company because of your participation. Your idea remains 100% yours from the application until after the end of the program.

No. NEST is a program which aims to support you and give you the very first tools to begin the implementation of your idea and to develop it to a more mature idea. At this moment ideas funding or other kind of grants are not included in any of the program’s stages.

The program is flexible enough and allows you to work with your schedule. However, during the program you have to complete specific skills development activities and to participate in working meetings. You will get more information about these if your application is accepted.

The program will take place in Greek, however the participants will have to use IBM’s SkillsBuild platform the content of which is in English, French and German. Also, some of the presentations or meetings with mentors may be in English, so good knowledge of at least Greek and English is required.

Generally we believe that you need a team to implement any idea. You can apply for the program, but if you don’t have a team your application may not be strong enough in the evaluation progress, in comparison with other ideas.

Yes, all the team members have to participate in the program activities. If any of your teammates doesn’t live in Lesvos, we will find a way to evolve him/her, but most of your team members should be on the island.

No, you don’t need to have a registered company to apply and participate in the program. You just need a team to implement your project.
